It was the final siren heard around the world. After six seasons, The Bullets finally broke one of recreational football's longest droughts to win their first ever premiership in front of a record crowd at Elgar Park on Wednesday night. Tears of joy streamed from the faces of both players and supporters, with jubilant scenes emerging as news of the victory broke around the world.

At the centre of the celebrations was Warren 'Coachy' Burford, a man not without his critics. But at that time, at that moment, he was king of the world. His first order of business was paying tribute to those who surrounded him, his players.
